All of BRIDGES' groups are co-facilitated by highly qualified and experienced staff that are responsive to both the needs of the client and the referring party.

Our groups meet in person at BRIDGES or online through Zoom meetings.

Our Women's Abuse Recovery counseling group focuses on providing support to women who are either currently in or have been in an abusive relationship. Group members work towards recovery by learning about various forms of abuse and controlling behaviors and beliefs, while learning how to set clear boundaries, develop effective communication skills, and practice positive self-care. The group offers support for day-to-day living in addition to examining the challenges of relationships.

We offer groups for groups for men and groups for women who want to learn how to respond to others when they have been harmed and when they harm others. People learn to respond in both these situations in a manner that contributes to relationships and individual becoming stronger. Often this process involves interrupting negative effects of trauma and ideas about gender that foster abuse and lead people way from repairing harm.
